JoeeGameZ and myself (CSDNET) came up with the idea of a private Minecraft server. This escalated to a community Minecraft server.

SFF Server is built as pre-production server to test our software stack. Hypervisor and virtualisation of the MC server and AMP panel.

Our server goes live for testing.

A set number of community members are given player access to the server. Planning for new ideal server spec has begun.

A new custom rack mount server/hypervisor is built and enters pre-production testing. The new server includes a higher CPU core count, more Ram and dedicated raid controller to allow us to operate 4x commercial SSD’s in Raid 10 for performance and redundancy.

Migration planning is coming to an end and we will soon be staging the migration. We have also begun planning our move to our new IP space and use of DNS to allow sign in via domain name. Our new IP space will provide better routing and some DDOS protection.
